A Day at the Zoo

Today, I took the kiddos to the zoo with a friend of mine and two of her kids- it was wonderful! We've been there a couple of times before, but all of the animals seemed to cooperate quite perfectly today! :-)

Including these two:



The grizzly bears put on quite the show- playing, fishing, and fighting inches from all the kids little faces! They still look soooo lovable and squishy to me, just like Daisy... I guess as long as the glass is in between us...










They also got to pet a bearded dragon and a ball python!! Near the end, their other favorite 'show' was put on by a baby orangutan learning how to swing on a robe! Adorable!

And at the very end, it left little bit half in and half out of a chair in the living room sleeping, for a looong looong time. :)

More Snow.

Well, it decided to snow today. I'm not really very welcoming of snow at the end of April. December, yes, YES! But end of April? I think not. The kids on the other hand- THRILLED. So they played and played in it on the balcony so I wouldn't have to go out with them at 7:30 in the morning!!

My Grown-Up Bunny

So, a few months ago, I asked the kids what they want to be when they grow up... Sam said, "A fireman, or drive an ambulance so I can help people." Sierra then said, "I want to be a bunny when I grow up so I can have lots of bunny babies!!! Cause I LOVE Bunnies!!!!!" We all laughed and laughed about it...

Well now, with the help of a $1 set of bunny ears from Target... my little girl has arrived.

It's Time.

I think it's time to start posting again.

January was rather uneventful.. well, actually not entirely. We moved from our townhouse to a little condo that we love! :-) I haven't taken a lot of pictures of it yet.. but here's the fireplace in the living room!



Probably my favorite thing! I've missed a fireplace for the past 2 years, so even though it's gas- I still love it! And the kids do too. And J too!

The other thing we love...



is the view! From INSIDE the living room! We've never had a view from inside before, we've always had to go out or around a building or something- but this, is fantastic! It's so refreshing early in the morning when I still want to be asleep. And the earlier I get up, generally the more beautiful it is! And the evening sunsets, are amazing! God is so good!

After we moved in, we all got sick! And seem to just be getting over it. It hasn't been terribly severe though which we are very thankful for!

We have been doing a study at church called "Balanced", it's a financial study by Andy Stanley, and it is fantastic! The messages are online at redrockchurch.org and they are so worth checking out!

Well, this is all mundane, but it's our life at the moment! More posts and photos to come as I hope to do this and use this more and more!
